It's not an accident!

It all started the first time I saw a PC magazine (read: windows) publish their "Top 10 Software Programs of the Year" list. I had (just days before) read about the new versions of Office, Quark, Photoshop, GoLive, (then brand new) iTunes, amongst others. What amazed me was that the majority (like 8 out of 10) of the top programs were troubleshooting or anti-virus programs.

I can't build my own mac - thats true. I don't want to, either.

Just ask our customers - they'll tell you that we're good. We know what we should be doing and not doing. Building speakers, designing crossovers, installing big, expensive stuff: that's us. Building computers: that's not. The reason why is simple. If you could buy a stereo at Best Buy that would work in any acoustical environment (it would automatically adjust), have good sounding, wirless speakers, and seamless video interface - we would be out of business. But you can't. In the computer world, you can buy a computer that works to increase your productivity. You can buy a computer that has no down time. You can buy a computer with an operating system that has never suffered a virus attack. You just need to spend a little more (and we mean A LITTLE). In fact, if you compare lost time troubleshooting Windows, you save money! You trust us with your newborn children as well as your money, so why not our opinion about computers? (Okay, maybe not the kids - but we dont bite! much....).

We're not the only ones!

"In the past, I had no particular love for the oh-so-artsy Apple world: since 90 percent of personal computers ran Windows, I felt I could safely leave the other 10 percent that ran the Mac OS to fend for itself.

But when the 5 Gig 1,000 song iPod MP3-player came out, my heart skipped a beat. Then, very much in love with the new streamlined iMac, I succumbed to buying this delectable machine. (Ah, with a 15” flat screen hovering over a stainless steel arm attached to a powerful computer base and the DVD-burning “Superdrive”, perfection.)

I liked the new OSX software, especially DVD-creation tools like iDVD and video editing software, like iMovie2. Before I realized it, I too was quietly renouncing the Dark Force of Microsoft and embracing the light of underdog Apple, led by CEO Steve Jobs. When I saw Apple’s new aggressive campaign spanking Microsoft, “Switching Over,” I saw myself."

Dan Dubno, CBSNews.com

.."Most home Windows users tempted to switch to a Mac could do so without losing anything, and might well gain … Macintosh computers are the best-designed computers on the market, and handle every common computing task as well as, or better than, a Windows PC. Switching to the Mac might make sense if you’re tired of Windows or Microsoft; if you spend much of your time working with digital photos, videos or music; or if you just love the look and feel of the Mac hardware and software. It might appeal if you prefer a carefully designed machine over a commodity box, or tight integration between software and hardware instead of a generic operating system crammed into a generic PC."

Walt Mossberg, Wall Street Journal

In fact - we have never run into anybody that has gone back once they've gone Mac.

Apple said "Think Different" and Sonic Sounds was born.

When Apple said "Think Different," we did. And here we are today with their help.

But you can't buy good software for the Mac!

The first time I heard this, I honestly thought it was a joke. The Windows user that made the remark honestly believed there was no version of Microsoft Office available for the Mac! He was surprised when he learned that Office was written for the Mac and ported to the PC later.

We like cool sayings - you may have noticed that by now. We're concluding with our favorite one:

There will always be skeptics.
There will always be disbelievers.
And there will always be Apple to prove them wrong.
